Wednesday was one of the most perfect spring evenings in Bend. The sun was out and it was still about 70 degrees. After dinner Tyler and I decided we should take a walk, so we left the dinner dishes on the table and headed out. We weren't sure where we were going to go at first but after a few blocks Tyler decided we needed some ice cream. So we walked to Ben and Jerrys in the Old Mill.
We have a perfect trail from our house that goes along the Canal and drops us out on Brookswood. It is great because we don't have to walk on the main busy streets. Well we got to our destination, got our ice cream and found a picnic table outside to sit at. Cade started going crazy when we were eating ice cream and not sharing it with him so I decided to let him try it. It was super funny! He didn't like the coldness in his mouth but he liked to rub his lips all over it. So I put the spoon up to his lips and he started shaking his head back and forth getting his lips all ice creamy!
I just wish we had remember the camera to caputre this.
I guess our memories will have to do!

I'm so fortunate to know about this trail now! It changes my feelings about this neighborhood! :)
omg...that would have been adorable. as moms, its too bad we dont have a camera attached to us (like another body part)
