On days like today it is so nice to be able to stay inside and just hang out.
When I was working full time I would wish so bad that when it was rainy, cold, snowing or even a beautiful sunny day, that I could stay home and not go into work. Now as a stay at home mom I have that freedom! It is the best. Today with the wind blowing and the snow flurrying down, the crock pot was calling my name. I had a roast that I have been meaning to make forever, so I chopped up some garlic added a few basil leaves and left the roast in the crock pot all day long. What an amazing smell that is! Along with our roast I made mashed potatoes, gravy and corn.
Yummy!
If I was on top of it I would have taken a picture of the beautiful meal like Megan Caston does, but I always think of things like that when it is too late.
