Tackle-It Tuesday: Master the Sewing Machine

For my birthday this year my mom and dad got me a sewing machine. I have wanted one for a very long time and dropped lots of hints! For Christmas a couple of years ago my mother-in-law got me a really old vintage Singer, but since it is so old it doesn't work very well. So now I have a brand spanking new one and I couldn't wait to put it to use.
Today I organized all my "sewing stuff" threads, pins, bobbins, scissors, seam ripper; it all now has it's own home in my handy sewing basket.
I also spent some time working on mastering threading the needle and winding and placing the bobbin.
My first project was a little table cloth for the end table next to the rocking chair in Cade's room. I used some left over fabric from his bedding so it all ties together. It actually turned out pretty good!
