So frusterating

Be warned... this post is going to be a little bit disgusting, but that is my life as a mom.
So Cade only poops about once every 9 to 10 days, which to me seems so crazy but according to his doctor is nothing to worry about. He isn't fussy with a stomach ache or constipated so he is just taking in all the nutrients from my milk (or so the dr. says).
Well the really frustrating part is, when he goes HE GOES and it is everywhere. Today was his day to go, we just got home from having lunch with Keri and Jonah and I could tell he was working on something. When I took him out of his car seat it I knew immediately it was not going to be pretty. It was so bad, it had come up out of the back of his diaper, all over the back of his onezie, out the leg of his diaper on his pants and onto his car seat. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! To clean him up I had to throw him in the bathtub.

This can't be considered normal can it?

oh friend - it is normal! I'm so sorry. getting the carseat dirty is the WORST! I'm glad you were at home:-).

I share a similar story with Boone! He poops WAY more often, which is worse...because he still has the blowouts! But has Cade's dripped all over the carpet? Yeah...NOT pretty.

It totally is normal (but gross and hard) Jayne was the same way. It's your breast milk, formula fed babies poop ALL the time :) But when you breastfeed they don't poop as much and when they finally do go, wow.. its a mess. I remember when Jayne was a baby we were here in Bend visiting before we moved here and Jayne was 3 months old and hadn't pooped in like 8 days and we were eating at anthonys rest, and she was wearing a white sundress and white bloomers and I was holding her and when I finally noticed the smell it was all over her and me!! yuck!! It does get better tho, won't be forever :)

Oh, so so normal...unfortunatly! That is why they make those carseat covers removable and washable! And let me guess...he was wearing something you LOVE huh?! Brings a whole new appreciation to stain remover:)

well i am so glad to hear my child is normal. it's one thing when the dr. tells you it is, but it is much more reassuring when you hear it first hand from other moms. Yes Jenna he was wearing something I love, his cowboy onezie :( luckily I got that dreft stain remover the other day!
