Tyler is the most adventurous person I know. He is always looking for something new to try. This year since season pass prices went up at Batchelor, he didn't get a ski pass, so he has been doing some backcountry skiing with some friends from church. Yesterday he only had to work half day, so the other half he went up to Tumalo Mountain to do some skiing. First he puts the skins on the bottom of his skiis so that he can make the climb to the top, then once he is at the top he takes them off so he can get speed coming back down.
It seems like a lot of work to me, but he loves it!
